ELF Daily Brush Cleaner

Hello, ladies!

I believe I’m not the first one to do a review of this product. Nevertheless, I am of strong opinion that every gal should be cleaning her make-up brushes regularly. With no exception. First, because it’s a hygienic thing to do. Second, it’s a sign of self respect. Third, because I don’t want to mix products between themselves and come up with a muddy colour and texture.

They say:

An anti-bacterial daily brush cleanser for quick cleaning in-between makeup applications. Disinfects brushes to provide a fresh and clean application every time. Cleaning brushes after each use with the Daily Brush Cleaner helps to keep your brushes last longer for extended use. New and improved leak-proof design for easy travel when you’re on-the-go!

I say:

On a weekly basis I wash the brushes with shampoo (there are shampoos for brush cleaning but actually you can use any kind of shampoo you have in the house, it works just fine; it always depends on how expensive you want the whole process to be). On a daily basis you can use this kind of spray. If you are a beauty on a budget, or simply don’t want to invest so much, the product from E.L.F. it’s for you. The quantity you are receiving in this pump it will last you long enough to be bored with this product. And the package is quite nice, a thing that I’ve always appreciated at ELF.

Pro’s:

  • it cleans the brushes – good for quickie operations (like, between two eye shadows)
  • good ratio of quantity versus price
  • easy to use

Con’s:

  • does not dry quickly
  • for foundation brushes you have to waste a lot of time using this product.

Will I repurchase this again? Probably not.

Until then, wear red lipstick and glitter all the way:-)
