Lush Cosmetics is one of those strange companies that you cannot form a proper opinion without a little love. As when they first came on the market their products were exotic and so attractive.
So, ages ago, when they launched their solid perfume I ticked it on my to-buy list. Nowadays, I am the owner of such a sexy product, called Karma.
Fragrances are a personal experience: rarely two people like the same scent and the same perfume can have a different scent on two persons. Generally, I shop perfumes in-distinctively, only on the spur of the moment, but I’m more of a heavy fragrance person myself. And this is not an easy to handle perfume: it’s sweet smell is blunt, in your face, like it has nothing to hide. It isn’t like anything I’ve encountered but in the same time this vampy scent is sooo Lush. Karma has a mix of patchouli, sweet orange and lemongrass oils inspired by the 70’s, retro and exotic.
What amazed me was how easy it was to use. All you have to do is rub that wax stick on your skin and there you have it!
The only problem with it is that it does not last long. On a more positive note, it comes in a 12g baton stick that can be easily slipped into your purse and keep the scent fresh all the time.
Have you tried the solid perfumes from Lush? What was your experience with them?
Until next time, wear red lipstick and glitter all the way:-)
