L’Oreal Super Liner Extra Black Gloss

Hello beauties,

As the sunny spring atmosphere is unravelling our makeup looks should be easy and on the natural side. This doesn’t mean that we should let go of everything we love, but addapt it. Like the cat-eye look. Creating the perfect eyeliner flick has been a subject of debate for so long now and everyone of us has joined the discussion regarding the product that will achieve that.

I somehow was bored with the three black eyeliners I already had so I’ve decided to try is the one from L’Oreal, Super Liner Extra Black Gloss. The product is a liquid eyeliner pen with a soft sponge tip with a semi-glossy finish.

– does not smudge or flake after 8 hours of wearing it
– due to the soft sponge tip, the application it’s super easy
– it is removed well at the end of the day

– the black color is not that intense, somehow watery
– I mentioned that the finish is semi-glossy compared with other eyeliners (Inglot, for example)
– the tip is a littl large for a fine pointed flick if you intend a sofisticated cat-eye makeup
– for every time you use it the applicator goes dry so quickly that it’s annoying the whole in and out of the tube motion for moisturizing the tip of the eyeliner.

Overall, the product is not mind-blowing but it’s ok: reasonably priced and adequate for a quick make-up look.

Until the next time, wear red lipstick and glitter all the way:-)

Inglot Liquid Eyeliner

Hello beauties!

I come here in front of you to admit that now and forever I am going to be an eyeliner addict. I believe this product to be an answer to a lot of questions whether concerning evening , daily , foxy, quick makeup.

When I bought this eyeliner Inglot was quite new to me but I’ve heard a lot of good things about it and I was ready to be impressed. And to make it a full experience I chose it in black.

  • liquid texture that dries in a short amount of time
  • quite resistant for a non-waterproof liner
  • brush applicator tip makes it super easy to apply the product

  • it contains tiny silver specks so it might give the wrong impression that the result is glittery – it’s not
  • it flakes if you don’t shake the bottle before usage – but I’ve never experienced this, just read about it.

My overall conclusion: I would recommend within limits this eyeliner. My experience with it has been positive for almost half a year, rain or shine and I am quite happy about this product and I’e used it in any possible combination.  But if you have oily eyelids or you are the kind of person with limited time to apply makeup I would suggest going for a waterproof eyeliner with a solid applicator tip as some skills need time to develop.

Until the next time, wear red lipstick and glitter all the way:-)

The ink pot

I am of opinion that for an eyeliner you can save some money and splurge on foundations and such.

I love eyeliners in every colour. Eyeliners are like your secret best friend that make your eyes stand out, allure and blink in that special way that no man can resist.

Well, Sleek Ink Pot eyeliner was a saver indeed and money somehow well spent.
– ultra-resistant – gone through a whole day with no smudge.
– perfect product for learning to use the eyeliner brush and to master this skill. Muhaha 🙂

– it comes with a brush; it was supposed to be a plus but as the brush is useless (small and flexible) I dont’t see the point in adding something I’m never going to use.
– the texture of the product is somehow dry and needs a bigger quantity for a flawless application.

Would I buy this product again? Probably not.

My rating: 7/10.

Until then, wear red lipstick and glitter all the way:-)

The ELF purchases

I’m sure I’m not the only one acting obsessive -compulsive when it comes to make-up. To eliminate this need and not to leave my pockets empty, I usually find myself ordering from Eyes Lips Face.

So, a couple of days ago I did just that. Among the things I just “needed to have” were two eyeliners (one brown and another one with glitter), an angled brush for eyeliner and a high definition setting powder. For my purchases, they gave me an eyelid primer.

As for their quality, I’ve had eyeliners from ELF and let me tell you that they are paying their money’s worth although the brown one seems a little bit too watery.

The brush is just a purchase in the spur of the moment, it’s not exactly what I want from an eyeliner brush -doesn’t look very steady and well build – but for some make-up looks I guess it will do.

I’ve bought the setting powder after reading a lot of positive reviews on the net about it. What always bugs me about ELF products is the packages size: I mean for 5 € what I’ve paid on thid powder the case is sooo tinny. Well, that means a review about this product will soon come.

The primer as I’ve said, it was a bonus from their side. I’ve previously used this kind of primer, but I’m not generally happy about it. For my oily skin I don’t see it makes much of a difference in terms of all day long make-up but from people with dry skin I’ve also heard positive reviews. I guess you have to try this one for yourself.

Until next time, wear red lipstick and glitter all the way:-)
